POLYLUX’S DEVICES FOR MONITORING AND CONTROLLING ISOLATION

The VA40/VA40-485/VA40F-485, CR5, TI1 and MR12 series are made up of monitoring and isolation equipment designed primarily to guarantee total electrical safety in medical installations.

The VA40/VA40-485/VA40F-485 series consist of insulation monitors, the CR5 series of remote signaling panels, the TI1 series of current transformers, and the MR12 series of remote monitoring systems.

Some of the utilities of the VA40/VA40-485/VA40F-485 series:

  • For the detection of AC leaks we have the VA40 and VA40-485. And for leak detection in AC and DC we have the VA40F-485.
  • To ensure measurement efficiency, even in the presence of disturbances and harmonic components, the monitor incorporates a digital filter in addition to using a coded signal.
  • Control of the electrical and thermal overload of the medical isolation transformer, managing two different temperature thresholds of the PT100 and PTC sensors. Temperature monitoring allows you to monitor transformer overload and bypass the circuit breaker downstream of the secondary.
  • All fault conditions are controlled remotely thanks to a connection with the CR5 remote signaling panels, to guarantee adequate and timely technical supervision.

Some of the utilities of the CR5 series:

  • Allows reporting of alarm signals from isolation monitors in all attended rooms, as required by reference standards.
  • Produces an acoustic and light signal in the event of an alarm due to low insulation or in the event of thermal and electrical overload.
  • It has a TEST button to periodically check its operating status and a button to silence the acoustic signal.

Some of the utilities of the TI1 series:

  • Constant reading of the secondary current of the transformer, which matches with the isolated network so that the watchdog activates the alarm in case of overload.
  • Previously, the monitor must have been configured with the admissible current in this network depending on its loads.

ASome of the utilities of the MR12 series:

  • Provides a data collection function and a monitoring interface.
  • The remote control is for the VA40 with RS485 Modbus-RTU communication bus. You can monitor up to 12 VA40-485 units.
