Autotransformers for solar inverters

Our AUTF series is made up of three-phase reversible autotransformers with an 800V input and a 400V output that have a rating range as from 1kVA up to 1000kVA.

The AUTF autotransformers are used to adapt the output voltage of the inverters to the voltage used by the customer in three-phase solar installations.

We can find different versions depending on their degree of protection:

  • AUTFX: IP00
  • AUTFW: IP23
  • AUTFZ: IP54/65

Some of its utilities:

  • Reduce the output voltage of the inverters to a network voltage suitable for the customer.
  • In installations where energy saving is a critical point or where a lower connection point is needed, such as renewable energy generation plants or high energy efficiency installations.

Constructive features:

  • All the autotransformers are dipped in anti-flash varnish and then compacted in the oven. This process increases the insulation grade, reduces noise and provides anti-moisture, waterproof protection.
  • All the connection terminals are made of copper. For transformers with aluminium coils, internal bimetallic AL-CU connections are made by welding with filling and sealing material to ensure a safe, long-lasting connection.
  • The high-power autotransformers are made with format cores and low loss properties, thus contributing to increase their performance.
