Reactors for harmonic filtering in single phase lines

The QR and R series are made up of reactors for harmonic filtering designed to be used in low-power single-phase installations where harmonic filtering is needed, such as those where there are non-linear loads, rectifiers, single-phase frequency converters, power supplies, etc.

In addition, due to their resin coating, they are ideal for environments with high humidity, salinity or corrosion, as well as vibrations and voltage peaks.

These inductors have all their active parts occluded in resin, thus achieving greater mechanical resistance to vibrations and unwanted movements, as well as overcurrent and transient harmonics.

The series include the ratings:

  • QR – as from 2.5A up to 31.5A
  • R – as from 2.5A up to 100A

Some of its utilities:

  • Reduction of current harmonics generated by electronic equipment, reducing current consumption and improving the power factor.
  • Reduction of the crest factor of the current waveform, lengthening the life service life of the equipment.
  • Attenuation of micro power cuts produced by the converter that cause the malfunction of computers, automatons and other susceptible equipment.

Constructive features:

  • IP20 enclosure, V-0 flame-retardant polymer box that complies with UL94.
  • Safety class I, convertible to class II (QR Series).
  • Safety class I (R Series).
  • All the connection terminals are made of copper. For transformers with aluminium coils, internal bimetallic AL-CU connections are made by welding with filling and sealing material to ensure a safe, long-lasting connection.
