The TK5IN series is made up of single-phase isolation transformers with 230V input and 230V output that includes a rating range as from 2kVA up to 40 kVA with low inrush, low losses and low noise level.
These transformers are ideal for powering the electronics of equipment in residential installations such as EV chargers, aerothermal, boilers or biomass equipment, among others.
Some of its utilities:
- TK5IN transformers are used when galvanic isolation is required in single-phase installations.
- They can be used to switch from Phase-Phase to Phase-Neutral.
- To disconnect the neutral from earth in those installations with grounded Phase-Neutral.
- In installations where we have loads that in normal operation have a high level of earth leakage, the TK5IN transformers can isolate them, thus avoiding the untimely jump of the differential.
- In outdoor installations where weather conditions are adverse, the TK5INZ version with IP-54/65 external enclosure offers an optimum solution.
We can find different versions depending on their watertightness:
- TK5INX: IP00
- TK5INW: IP23
- TK5INZ: IP54/65
Constructive features:
- All the transformers are dipped in anti-flash varnish and then compacted in the oven. This process increases the insulation grade, reduces noise and provides anti-moisture, waterproof protection.
- All the connection terminals are made of copper. For transformers with aluminium coils, internal bimetallic AL-CU connections are made by welding with filling and sealing material to ensure a safe, long-lasting connection.
- Efficiency over 95%.
- Low losses, reducing the consumption of the installation.
- Low noise < 40dB
- Inrush between 3 and 5In, for B or C curve input protections and at their rated current.
